Easter @ Abacus Ark Maida Vale
Easter celebrations at Abacus Ark Maida Vale are looking to be really special. Along
with the fun and creative activities we have planned, we will be holding an Easter
Bonnet Parade, giving back to the local community through an easter egg initiative
with the local food bank and embracing the non-christian celebration of Passover.
Easter Bonnet Parade - 31st March 2021
Easter celebrations at Abacus Ark Maida Vale are looking to be really special. Along
with the fun and creative activities we have planned, we will be holding an Easter
Bonnet Parade, giving back to the local community through an easter egg initiative
with the local food bank and embracing the non-christian celebration of Passover.
Celebrating Passover
We respect and value all religions at Abacus Ark and we will also be celebrating
Passover. We will be making our own Seder plates and decorating Elijah cups. We will
also be trying something new for snack time – Jewish Matzah Bread. We have asked our
parents to take pictures of these special celebrations to share with us.
Easter at the North Paddington Food Bank
For the first time, this year we will be partnering with North Paddington Food Bank to
provide Easter eggs for families that use the food bank regularly, who otherwise
would’ve gone without a treat this Easter. We are working in partnership with our
amazing parents to get as many contributions we can, to donate to families less
fortunate than us.
Easter Egg Hunt and More
Of course, for Easter, we will also be getting physical in the garden as we go on an
exciting Easter egg hunt. We’ve also planned some fun creative and cooking activities
to celebrate Easter.
