Name: Hanouf Gotangogan
Position: Key Teacher
NVQ Level 3
I started as a volunteer in a day nursery then realised that I enjoyed working with young children. I became an apprentice for a year, working with children of 12 – 18 months and then I worked in a crèche for a year with children of 6 months – 2 years. Afterwards, I went to university to do my degree and subsequently become a key teacher for a year with children of 16– 26 months.
What do you love most about working in childcare?
Being creative, thinking outside the box and sharing the developmental milestones that are being achieved daily.
What is your earliest memory as a child?
Playing in the streets with my peers until the street lights came on.
Look out for our social media posts over the coming weeks to see what Hanouf gets up to at nursery!
